Repotting pines & junipers. Would like to know when everyone decides repot. I’ve heard early and later times. What do you look for?

Naka will tell you Feb,Mar,Apr, Oct, and Nov for California Juniper.
Wayne Schoech says Early Spring when new buds are just beginning to swell. Later fall transplants are possible but avoid disturbing the roots in prep for winter.😷
Naka had the benefit of being in a California climate. Lately I’ve been hearing to do in late spring when it’s warmer. Vin Russo, at his last demo, says he just started doing later potting. When have you been repotting and how successful were you?
@Jim Genesee I would use the swelling of buds of each plant to compensate for differences in zone, seasons, pot configuration, soil mix and plant viability. General rules are tempered by the actual tree and it's individual status. Too many variables. Better to take the queue from the specific tree.
Here is a white pine I repotted today the Picts of the buds is what I look for to signal me it’s repot time. there is no exact day or month I repot pine, however it is in spring.I let the trees tell me when
