• Distribution of a monthly informative newsletter listing dates, speakers and other activities as well as "bonsai talk".
• Workshops at which members create their own bonsai with help from a team of able instructors.
• Collecting trips where the society has received permission to collect trees growing on certain property.
• Auctions at which members can bid on valuable material including finished bonsai.
• A library available at each meeting containing books, tapes and magazines.
• Vendors present at each meeting selling trees and accessories at reasonable prices.
• Club sales of seedlings, containers and books.
• Social events including picnics and parties.
• Club exhibits both to the public and to club members. Members’ bonsai can be critiqued at option of member at these events.
