Cascade Style Bonsai
Our Monday, May 10th meeting will feature Julian Labbi Velasco, curator at Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Julian has been with us before, and his demos show why he was selected as curator at BBG. Julian's lecture demo will begin at 8 p.m. and he will work on an Andromedia, and provide information on development and care of this type on bonsai. A raffle of the demo piece will be held at the conclusion of the meeting.
Prior to Julian's demonstration, our own Martin Haber will provide information and instructions on potting and repotting bonsai starting at 7:30 p.m.
We meet in the Classroom of the Main Greenhouse at Planting Fields Arboretum.
